Notice to the Community from IHP

Dear Fishers Island Community,

I’m writing to share with you that Dr. Ingram’s last day in the office will be Wednesday, April 1st. We are grateful for his many years of dedicated service and will recognize his contributions shortly. Please stay tuned for more details.

We are well into the process of conducting the search for a permanent physician with the support of a professional search firm and a thoughtful committee made up of experienced clinicians with deep ties to Fishers Island. They are actively reviewing candidates and conducting interviews with a focus on finding a provider who delivers excellent care and is a strong fit for our unique island community.

As we enter this transition, please know that your access to on-the-island healthcare will continue without interruption. Interim healthcare providers are in place, so please call the office if you need an appointment.

We understand that changes to one’s medical providers can be unsettling and we want to reassure you that maintaining reliable, high-quality healthcare is our top priority.
